More of the kids

Here are some more shots of the kids that we haven't posted yet. As you can see AJ and Payton are busy at work last fall (covering Ty with leaves).

This is AJ just a couple weeks ago with one of the fish he caught. This was a nice 18 inch rainbow that he caught by himself. Of course my new underwater camera helped.

We are trying to potty train Ty. He seems to be catching on quickly. he has an assortment of reading material within reach of his Go Diego Go throne.

Payton is always to offer a helping hand (or whatever it takes...)

Some of the residents just North of us... Grandpa got to see some of these last December. The one being lazy is the biggest in the group. They are quite fun to watch.

Also, for those of you who don't know. I have a race here in Vernal in June that I am putting together. This is big and any of you who would like to help, please let me know. I will need in the neighborhood of 100 volunteers. The date is June 23rd. The night before and the morning of the 23rd is when I would need the help. We are planning on about 500-750 racers. It is a triathlon so we will be all over the valley out here. That's all for now. AJ and Payton are here with me and say hi to everyone. More photos later...

ABOVE ZERO..Summer is here!!

As promised here are some shots of the kids, including Addison. As you can tell, she was quite jaundiced for a while.

Then she got better.

The two above are from her blessing day here in Vernal, the 1st week of December. Just one big happy family...Then we go back to fall last year.
We have a big 50' cottonwood tree in our back yard that never quits losing it's leaves. We were actually able to burry all three kids at once.

We still have more on the camera that we just need to move to the computer. The best thing is that Vernal is past the deep freeze. I was in San Antonio 2 weeks ago and they couldn't believe how cold parts of the world really are. For those of you in a perpetual 80, you really should try -25. It makes the +35 we get now feel like summer. In fact we are putting away our coats for the winter.

As Jum Rome would say... I'm Out!!

Grand Champions

Here's a picture of the whole team with the banner and trophy they won. After the pictures were taken, Jason asked their coach if she was going to wrap up in the banner and sleep with it. She laughed, but I think she was thinking about it!

Vegas Photos

This is the whole team in the last pose of the routine. B'Elana is in the front of the pyramid.

Left: This is our Li'l Devil with the Li'l Devil we gave her for doing well at the competition. We thought it was so cute! B'Elana liked that her Little Devil had horns and a little pointed tail.

2007 Mini Level 1 National and Grand National Champions!!!

That's not a mistype, it's really happened. B'Elana and her Lil Devils are the new COA 2007 Mini Level 1 National Champions and COA Level 1 Grand Champtions!!!!

It was a great event and a lot of fun to be at. The girls were all so exicited when the lil devils were announced as national champions that they all gathered up their kids. Of course the lil devils were excited as well. But little did anyone know or expect that they would just 10 minutes later be announced as Grand Champions of all the Level 1 teams across all age groups.

It's an incredible win for the team and everyone involved. This ends the competitive season for B'Elana until next year, but Deanna's is just around the corner.

Callie Cast

T.D. was in the newspaper this morning (might need to register, but free subscription)where they did a story on the news video broadcasts they do at his school and post on the web for all to see.

You can see them all here at the Callie Cast home page, and for Paul Harvey's the rest of the story, stay tuned for what other new reporter he has a crush on, and the budding romance over milk and cookies in the cafeteria.

Quick trip to sunny CA

Well I had a great time taking a quick trip to see Jerhi/Terry and the kids. It started out slow as the whole first day I was supposed to be in Menifee was spent in the airport, but oh well, at least I eventually made it. For all of you crazy people living in Utah here are pictures of the California clan with 70 degree weather and sunny skies. (Even the air is clear) You can see Ali is busy in the kitchen helping Terry. Ali even made us oatmeal cookies that were great. Chase is on the computer. He wakes up EARLY every morning to claim his spot. The hot-tub was the best, something we should all have to come home to every night.
Sandy (the dog) is loved by all and is so playful. You can see how nice it was to be outside and play a little catch or just run around. Thanks for letting me come guys, and remember.....
PLAN A TRIP TO UTAH!!

Are we in Nevada or Louisiana?

It's so easy to get confused now a day, but i'm pretty sure we only drive for about 6 hours and not 26 so it must be Las Vegas. Why are we so confused?

Well if you look to the right you might notice what looks like a beautiful New Orleans street but in reality it's The Orleans hotel and casino.

While not one of jason's favorite's in Las Vegas (he'd prefer the Venitian, Bellagio, or the Wynn) it does have it's own charms.

In fact, it also has trumpet playing alligators!!!

Now how many of you have been able to hang out with trumpet playing alligators? Or better yet, a bass playing one!!

Overall it's been a nice first day. BK had practice at a local park, a little chilly at 54 degree's outside, I guess we didn't need to pack a couple extra pair of shorts afterall.

We drove down in the devil-mobile, decorated by us all before we fled from salt lake. I think we are the only people who decorated the car, I just don't think these people have gotten into the spirit of this whole thing.

Well that's all for now, don't forget to check back tomorrow to see where we are...you never know.

Look out Vegas, Here come the DEVILS

We are officially on our way to Vegas this morning. We rented a car yesterday and decorated it in support of our team. I'll post some pics when we get settled into our hotel in Vegas.

B'Elana seems excited to be going, but not at all sure what all the hoopla is about. I'm sure she'll understand better when we get there.

So far, we've only discovered on thing we've forgotten, but it's part of the uniform, so I'm not sure how that's going to go. And I woke up with a raging ear infection this morning, so I haven't heard half of what's going on around me and usually have the TV and radio up way too loud.

We've brought all the necessary equipment to post some pictures and video, so we'll be keeping you all up to date.

Look for more info soon!
